Agroforestry Sweden is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and advancing agroforestry in Sweden. Our areas of focus range from small-scale forest gardens to agroforestry practices on arable land, pastures, and in forests. To drive change, the association participates in Swedish policy development as a referral body to the Swedish Board of Agriculture and serves as a platform for networking at local and national levels. At the European level, Agroforestry Sweden represents Swedish agroforestry farmers’ interests within the European Agroforestry Federation. Through the Agroforestry Network, the organization aims to connect the work carried out in Sweden with that of its network partners’ in the Global South, further raising awareness of agroforestry’s numerous benefits worldwide while also learning from decades of experience in tropical agroforestry practices.
